Call for Nominations: Congress Award for outstanding scientific publication (April 10, 2022)

The organizing committee of the International Congress of Belarusian Studies is pleased to announce the opening of the Call for Nominations for the outstanding scientific publication Award in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities during the calendar year 2021.

The Award aims to recognize outstanding achievements in Social, Political Sciences and Humanities, to encourage academic research in these fields and improve its quality.

We invite the representatives of the academic community to nominate significant scientific publications, in order to promote the achievements of the Belarusian academia and to reward its researchers.

Please send your proposals for nominations before April 10, 2022 to premija@palityka.org.

The Award ceremony will take place at the 10th International Congress of Belarusian Studies in Kaunas (Lithuania) on October 1, 2022.

The Award is sponsored by the Belarusian Charitable Trust (London) and the Kipieĺ family (USA).

The Award will be given to the best representatives of three different categories:

- History;

- Humanities;

- Social Sciences: Political Sciences and Sociology

This year, a competition for the best Polish-language monograph by a foreign author on Belarusian issues (2016-2021) is announced.

Also, for the first time, a contest for non-Belarusian authors for the best English-language article (published through 2019-2021) on Belarusian socio-political issues will be held.

Two separate competitions will be held: one for scientific monographs and another for articles.
